ReDUX rocked the Wild Buffalo last Friday night. They are awesome every time I see them. The band played three 45-minute sets that left devout fans floored with their eclectic collection of covers & originals…Beth Schramer lit up the stage with uncontrollable energy bursts fueling the crowd to clear their seats into a dancing frenzy.
Fans who stuck around past 1 a.m. caught an explosive rendition of Led Zeppelins "Whole lotta Love," that would have left Robert Plant's jaw gaping.

The band's former incarnation, The Ducks, was a Bellingham favorite that played for over a decade but ended their long stint in the early 90's. The band reunited with the addition of the guitarist and singer's son on drums, became "the family that plays together" and updated the name to the oh-so-catchy Redux. And, playing together is something this band does very well. For their newest addition, Justin, growing up in a culture of music has obviously fostered fantastic skill on the drums which now contributes to a very tight sound.
Hollie Huthman - What's Happening
"This band loves what they do and they do it well. In the tough business of musical entertainment, where it's easy to get jaded and self-possessed, this band is a breath of fresh air. Instrumentally the band is tight and well-rehearsed. Female vocalist, Beth Schramer,is a fine vocalist and a wonderful performer. Her comic theatrics parallel the lyrics of each selection, and her dynamic high spirits add a dimension that should not be missed.

This is a real good band, and lots of fun to watch and dance to. I think this joie de vivre that they display could translate to the larger venue of concerts and videos, too. But it should be considered no sin or disgrace to be a local band, either."
