REDUX band hails from the Pacific Northwest, home of the world's best agarage bands and salmon.
Paul & Beth Schramer and their son Justin form the band's core of guitar, vocals and drums.
Mark Schramer, Paul's brother, adds a solid bass presence, playing upside down and backwards.
Tim Kraft, soul crooner and master of the screaming organ, plays keyboards.
Paul, Beth, and Tim are orginal members of Northwest party band The Ducks. Former Ducks keyboardist Lauralee Smith and bassist Jim Lindquist also sit in whenever they can.
Justin is a walking encyclopedia of rock and soul, a great DJ in Portland and is now guitarist for Sleepwalkers RIP.
REDUX plays quirky rock,
like The Who on Red Bull,
or a hybrid of Motown, Bowie and Foo Fighters.
They are unapologetic about their energetic goofiness,
relentless hope in the face of chaos,
and deep desire to live and love.
REDUX CD Been Here Before was recorded at Digg Studio in Bellingham and in Portland, was written and produced by Paul Schramer.

The songs rose as a result of many influences:
horrified reactions to Gulf War Part Deux,
Heavier Than Heaven, Charles Cross's wonderful bio of Kurt Cobain,
taking a trip to Las Vegas for a Transportation expo,
enjoying middle aged passions and pains,
losing a father, gaining a daughter-in-love,
and finding a crazy letter from an anonymous writer at a bus shelter marked "Urgent Message for the People",
which had to be checked for anthrax by the local police before it could be turned into lyrics.
REDUX sound is guitar driven, melodic, straightforward, passionate and a bit twisted, or as the artist Fishboy, who created the cd coverart calls it, "pure unfiltered rock n roll."
REDUX are now working on their next set of original songs which are getting funkier and chunkier all the time.
